For years, we were told that getting out of our current B-lender situation would be impossible - that we were essentially “stuck” with no path forward. Alex proved that wrong. His expertise and commitment led us to something we honestly didn’t believe was possible: securing a mortgage with a top lender.

I came to him after already being rejected, and he really helped me turn things around. Not just getting the mortgage approved, but guiding me through the whole process step by step. He was always available, stayed in touch, and answered all my questions.

He secured us an excellent mortgage rate for our new home, helped us arrange a home equity solution, and made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and manageable.

I recently worked with Alex to refinance my mortgage and couldn’t be happier with the experience. What really impressed me was the rate he was able to secure - genuinely better than anything I had found on my own or been offered elsewhere.

Buying a first home is both an exciting and deeply stressful life experience, and I am truly grateful that I had Alex guiding me through it. No question ever felt too small, and even the most complicated parts were explained in a clear and reassuring way.

Alex was incredibly supportive and patient with us as first-time buyers. It was clear that he’s very knowledgeable and thorough in his work. We had a great experience working with Alex.

How it works

Negotiate first. Switch only if the math wins.

1

Share your letter or maturity date

Balance, rate type, and when the term ends.

2

Get a market compare

Written options to stay, negotiate, or switch - with fee drag called out.

3

Decide with leverage

Use the quote at your bank, or move if the total cost is better.

Who it’s for

Ontario homeowners facing a renewal decision.

  • Payment shock2021–22 cohorts renewing higher - term and amortization choices matter.
  • Thinking of switchingCollateral charges and legal fees can erase a tiny rate win - we math it first.
  • Income changedSelf-employed or bruised files may need an alternate path, not a blind renew.

Questions

A few questions, answered.

Should I renew with my bank or switch?

Stay if your bank matches a competitive offer after you shop. Switch if the total savings beat discharge, legal, and appraisal costs. Alex runs that compare.

When should I start?

About 120 days before maturity is ideal. Federally regulated lenders must send a renewal statement at least 21 days out - that is a minimum, not a reason to wait.

Can I renew early?

Sometimes. Early renewal or refinance can involve a penalty. Ask before you break a term.

Will this form affect my credit score?

No. The form does not pull credit. A lender pull happens later, only if you agree to an application.
